Ballymun 4 business (B4b) hosted another vibrant evening of connection and collaboration at its “Grill & Chill” networking event recently, set in the unique surroundings of the Aspen Building’s rooftop garden in Ballymun.

Blessed with clear skies and warm summer weather, the event brought together businesses, organisations and community leaders from Ballymun along with some fresh faces from further afield for an informal evening of networking, great food, and live music.

The relaxed atmosphere was enhanced by the acoustic sounds of local musician Ian Grange, whose guitar set the tone for a chilled-out summer vibe high above the streets of Ballymun.

One of the highlights of the evening was the opportunity for attendees to pitch their business to the group, a dynamic feature that sparked engaging discussions, new collaborations, and potential partnerships.

It was a chance for participants to showcase their work, raise their profile, and build valuable connections in a supportive, informal setting.

“The goal as always was to create a welcoming, enjoyable space where people could connect naturally,” said Robert Murphy, Chairperson of Ballymun 4 business.

“It was fantastic to see so many new faces and familiar ones coming together to support and connect with one another.”

Guests enjoyed freshly grilled food, cold refreshments, and lively conversation, all against the backdrop of a stunning rooftop sunset.

The unique setting encouraged open dialogue, idea sharing, and new connections between a variety of businesses and organisations.

B4b extends sincere thanks to all attendees, Ian Grange for providing the perfect musical backdrop, and the Aspen Building for their generous hospitality, Nan’s Centra Catering and Blossom Artisan Bakery for their delicious bites, Dublin City Council, AIB and Northwest Area Partnership for their continuous support and all the B4b members who have made this business community thrive.
