Uisce Éireann says their crews have reconfigured their water network in the Castleknock area, and water is returning to customers.

An outage and issues with low pressure had been affecting customers in Carpenterstown and surrounding areas.

A reconfiguration of the network took place this afternoon and the system is now recharging.

Uisce Éireann’s  Tselo Tlou thanked those affected for their patience while crews carried out the works.

“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support.

“It may take a number of hours for the entire network to recharge especially for customers on higher ground and at the end of the network.”

An alternative water supply is being put in place to facilitate customers experiencing delays
