Today marks the official opening of Kellogg’s new European headquarters in Ireland.
The new state-of-the-art office, located in the heart of Dublin Airport at Dublin Airport Central, will see over 300 Kellogg European employees working side by side on domestic and regional operations.
The opening is being celebrated by the employees this week with a full agenda of activities including an Easter egg hunt with employees’ children.
Kellogg has been in Ireland since 1980 and the long-awaited move to the new European HQ comes as the company looks to enhance its working model for employees across Ireland and throughout its global operations.
Kellogg Europe President, David Lawlor said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be in a position to officially open our brand-new office at Dublin Airport Central.
“After the difficult two years we have all had, this day is long overdue, and I am delighted that our employees are able to gather and celebrate.
“It was also extra special that our office was officially opened by some of our Breakfast Club pupils as it meant we got to celebrate with them.
“That was very important to our staff as we are all really proud of our support of over 900 Breakfast Clubs across Europe, 27 of which are in Ireland.”
Commenting on Kellogg’s new hybrid-working initiative HR Director at Kellogg Europe, Sinead Collins said, “We are delighted to be able to mark this moment and celebrate together the official opening of our new office and also launch our hybrid-working initiative ‘Locate For Your Day’ which allows people to take advantage of working both at home and in the office.
“This coupled with our agile working initiatives such as Summer Hours which enables an early finish on a Friday during the summer months, provide a real opportunity for a greater work-life balance for our employees.
“While our ways of working will never be the same, we are embracing that at Kellogg and are looking forward to building on the great work carried out by our team here in Ireland in our new modern, innovative office space.”
