Man to appear before court in connection with Blanch shooting

Gardaí have announced that a man in his 30s is to be brought to Blanchardstown District Court this morning to be charged in relation to a shooting incident which occurred on the 1st of June 2019 at Blakestown Way, Blanchardstown.

On the day in question, Gardaí were called to the scene of a shooting on Blakestown Road at approximately 5:20pm.

In a statement, Gardaí said that “a male in his 40’s had been taken to hospital” and at at the time no arrests were made.
