Woman charged after Finglas house search

Gardaí have arrested and charged a woman in her thirties following a search of a house in the Barry Drive area of Finglas yesterday.

Gardaí have seized approximately €25,000 in cash and a mobile phone.

The woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Blanchardstown Garda Station where she was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

She has been charged in relation to money laundering offences and is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning at 10.30am.
