Paul managed to regain his composure and play the game.

FINGLAS man Paul Redmond made a dramatic entrance when he had his dream come true earlier this month after being asked to ‘come on down’ on one of the world’s longest-running and most famous TV game shows.

The Price is Right is two years older than 45-year-old Paul Redmond and he’s always wanted to be a contestant. So when Paul was asked to ‘come On Down’ on a recent show it was the biggest surprise ever as only nine out of an audience of over 350 hopefuls are chosen.

Paul made a huge impression as when he jumped up he bounced around and fell over on his backside. At first there was an audible gasp from the audience but just as quick the Northsider bounced back up and came on down.

Host of The Price is Right, Drew Carey, said that when Paul fell over backwards, he would end up in the Price is Right Hall of Fame and from now on it would be called the ‘Paul Fall’.

Paul missed out by only $5 on winning the star prize on the show and afterwards Carey handed him the coveted Price is Right Microphone and said: “Paul is now officially a proper game show host”.

Paul is no stranger to game shows as he has created and hosts custom events in Ireland. The Big Screen Quiz is a unique interactive visual Game Show that can be seen in sports bars and it has now branched out and is used for team building and fundraising Events

Paul can be contacted by email on BigScreenQuiz@gmail.com.
