LITTLE Lacey Henderson, from Finglas, had a real hair-raising experience recently – but it was all for a good cause.

The seven-year-old supported a foundation that makes wigs for children living with hair loss (alopecia) by shedding her long locks to donate to them.

The youngster is no stranger to good causes, having already raised over €1,300 for Temple Street Children's Hospital to date.

Lacey got her hair cut at Gorgeous hair salon in Artane, and mum Sonya Cash is suitably proud of her daughter’s generosity.

What a big-hearted little girl!
