FINGLAS born Eurovision and Masterchef winner Niamh Kavanagh is helping to spearhead a campaign aimed at helping mums enjoy a summer ‘free from’ hassle.
The Greene Farm campaign features a series of collaborative recipes created by Niamh and fun videos for mums and dads with ideas on how to keep the kids active while staying active themselves.
Niamh was joined at last week’s launch by TV presenter and fellow Greene Farm ambassador, Baz Ashmawy, along with model mum Sarah Morrissey, kids’ fitness guru Coach Eamon Lynch from Lightning Legs and boys and girls from all over Dublin including six-year-old Hollie Walker from Finglas.
Niamh Kavanagh has created a series of recipes for mums for the campaign that include: a Turkey and Cranberry Lettuce Pocket; Cajun Chicken Quesadilla Pizza; Light Turkey and Corn Chowder; Cajun Chicken Salad with Avocado Mango and Quinoa; and Chicken Enchiladas.
Baz Ashmawy said both Niamh and himself were delighted to help launch the Naturally Free From campaign.
“It really makes sense, bringing together a selection of experts who are also parents to design these videos,” he said.
“The idea is to offer mum some ideas on how to achieve some time Free From Hassle this summer.
“The videos include some mouth-watering recipes from Niamh and some great activity ideas from Coach Eamon to help get out and active and keep the kids busy at the same time.
“It’s 50 ways to kill the summer boredom!”
