A NORTHSIDE youngster and his pals inspired by the work of St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, are organising a charity game show that’ll be broadcast live on December 28.

Philip O’Ceallaigh and his family saw first-hand the amazing work done by staff at the Dublin 15 hospice while his dad, Brendan Kelly, was battling with cancer.

Brendan, a teacher in Castleknock Community College, was a beloved member of the community and news of his passing was devastating for the local community.

Now Philip, along with pals Cian, Joe, Ruairi and Shane, are hoping to give back something to hospice as a ‘thank you’ for taking care of Brendan.

On Wednesday, December 28, they’ll be hosting a 24-hour gaming show that will be broadcast online live at www.twitch.tv/sfsfh.

The lads are hoping the community in Dublin 15 will get behind them and contribute funds that will go towards the kind, generous work carried out at the hospice.

Donations are being collected at give.everydayhero.com/ie/streaming-for-st-francis-hospice and all amounts are greatly appreciated.

More information and updates on the event can be found on a dedicated Facebook page at facebook.com/streamingforstfrancishospice.
