Dublin People 28 Jun 2016
GARDAÍ in Finglas stepped up their appeal today for information on missing 44-year-old Karen Scott.

She is described as being approximately 5’ 4’’ tall and of medium build with blue eyes and short blonde hair. When last seen she was wearing white runners, a peach coloured hooded top and black jeans.
Karen, who has Down Syndrome, left her home in Finglas at approximately 3.30pm on Friday, June 24. The last confirmed sighting of her was on Friday evening last on Berkeley Road, Phibsboro.
At today’s media briefing in Finglas Garda Station, Inspector Burke stated: “When last seen, Karen had a suitcase which contained clothing so it is possible that she is not wearing the same clothes. The clothes included bright coloured tops – yellow, green, blues – shorts and a mini skirt.”
He added: “We are working closely with Karen’s family to try and locate her and would appeal to anybody who has any information, however small, to contact us.
“Due to Karen being missing for a number of days, we – and Karen’s family – are very concerned for her safety.
Anyone who has seen Karen or who can assist in locating her is asked to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01-6667500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111 or any Garda station.
