Motorcyclist seriously injured in early morning collision with bus

GARDAÍ at the Bridewell are appealing for witnesses following a collision at Constitution Hill, Dublin, in the early hours of this morning.

Shortly after 1am, a 25-year-old male was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a bus. He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel and taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital.

His condition is understood to be serious.

The driver of the bus, a male in his late 40s, was uninjured. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the collision.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have examined the scene and the road has since reopened.
