Creative Places Darndale

Creative Places Darndale are offering a series of free creative workshops on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm in the Bell Building in Darndale.  

The workshops are for adults but teenagers are welcome to attend provided they’re accompanied by an adult. 

The first workshop was an acting class with John Connors and it was fully booked within 24hrs.  

Learn how to take the perfect picture on the 3rd April with Music Photography Gerry Doyle. 

Learn how to write a rap song on the 10th April with Rapper and hip hop artist Talha Wise Wolf 

Things will slow down on the 17th April when Priorswood Artist and Writer Aileenalone will host a Storytelling circle.

Come along and share your best stories. 

What is sand-motion? On the 24th April try your hand at making a stop motion mini film with Artist Melissa Culhane. 

Award winning Poet Leon Dunne is hosting a poetry writing workshop on the 1st May and Irish Times and Hotpress writer Roe McDermott is running a writing class on the 8th May. 

We’re finishing with a bang, the Yawlag Collective are running a DJing workshop on the 15th May. 

All workshops are free but booking is essential.
