Towards a new Arts Centre in the North Central Area

Dublin City Council want to establish a Working Group that will identify sites and potential funding for a new Arts Centre in the North Central Area.
As this proposal is at the beginning stages it is intended to hold a ‘Town hall’ style meeting at Coolock Library, tomorrow, March 26, at 6.30 p.m. finishing at 8 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to hear from everyone (Artists, Residents and Organisations) interested in the project on all aspects of the proposed Arts Centre from its vison, mission, operation, location and funding.
It is expected that the journey towards creating such a centre will take several years but should have a positive impact on the Arts locally as it develops and will build on recent and ongoing activity by Artists and communities locally.
