Dream win for Donabate as local garage sells Ireland’s first EuroDreams prize of 2025

A life-changing win has landed in Donabate, as the Maxol Garage in Turvey has been revealed as the seller of Ireland’s first high-tier EuroDreams winning ticket of 2025.

The lucky player has secured a Tier 2 prize worth €2,000 per month for the next five years.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw, which took place on Thursday, March 20th.

The winning numbers were 16, 23, 25, 37, 38, 40, with the Dream number 5.

EuroDreams, launched in Ireland in 2023, differs from traditional draw-based games by offering annuity-style prizes.

The top prize of €7.2 million is paid in monthly tax-free installments of €20,000 over 30 years, while the Tier 2 prize grants €2,000 per month for five years.

The game is played in eight European countries, with draws taking place every Monday and Thursday.

The National Lottery is now urging all players in North County Dublin to check their tickets carefully.
