‘Christmas at Diamond Park’ extravaganza for North East Inner City
Dublin People 02 Dec 2024
Dublin City Council and the North East Inner City Initiative are proud to present ‘Christmas at Diamond Park’, a festive extravaganza taking place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December.
Beginning each day at 12pm and continuing until 6:30pm, the event will be jam-packed with things to do and sprinkled with enough festive magic and seasonal joy for the whole community.
‘Christmas at Diamond Park’ is the perfect place to get into the holiday spirit and support some fantastic local enterprises at the same time. Before settling in to watch one of the amazing classic Christmas films on the big screen, such as Home Alone, Elf, The Polar Express, The Grinch, and more, visit the wonder of Santa’s Grotto, which is decorated for the season and offers a free gift to everyone.
Make sure to stop by and stroll through the Christmas Market, filled with delicious sweet & savoury treats, homewares and great gift ideas. Tasty hot drinks will be available to purchase from Inner City Enterprise Moyee Coffee, while skincare & cosmetic fans can pick up all of their essentials at another popular Inner City Enterprise Karo – a great way to support some businesses from the local community. Guests are sure to love the face-painting and hair braiding stations too!
The gorgeous Gardiner Street Christmas Lights will be switched on by none other than Jim Gavin (NEIC Independent Chair) on Saturday 7th at 5pm in a very special ceremony – the first event of its kind in the area and a brand-new Christmas Tradition in the making.
