Fatal road traffic collision in Malahide

Gardaí say they are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a bicycle and a car that occurred shortly before 9:30am yesterday on the Malahide Road at Kinsealy.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries.

He has since been pronounced deceased.

No other serious injuries to persons was reported.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Malahide Road in the Kinsealy area between 9am and 9:30am are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
