CATU Fingal members and families facing eviction set to gather at Fingal County Council offices in Swords

Members of the Community Action Tenants’ Union (CATU) – Fingal Branch and families facing eviction in Fingal will gather at the offices of Fingal County Council on Swords Main Street at 5PM this evening.

CATU and the families say they will deliver their “Ten-Point-Plan” where they outline the support they would like to receive from FCC Housing.

In a statement, CATU said:

“This gathering is taking place because, despite a commitment from the previous FCC Director of Housing to meet with CATU and the families, no progress has been made in setting a date for that meeting.

“In addition CATU and the families want to emphasise the important role that FCC can play in assisting families facing eviction.”
