Dublin footballer Carla Rowe officially opens new Lidl store in LuskPadraig Conlon 09 Dec 2021
Lidl Ireland’s brand-new store in Lusk was officially opened today by Dublin footballer Carla Rowe.
The new state-of-the-art store brings has also created up to 30 permanent jobs with the retailer.
As Lidl is Ireland’s leading supporter of female participation in sport through its partnership with the Ladies Gaelic Football Association, it is only fitting that the store was officially opened by Dublin star Carla.
Customers can now shop in the new 1,609 metre squared shop floor, featuring a spacious interior layout, high ceilings, and wide aisles, ensuring a comfortable shopping experience for our customers.
In addition to an improved shop floor and layout, the new state-of-the-art design will showcase a number of sustainable features such EV charging points, efficient heating, and LED lighting.
In line with Lidl’s community-focused objectives under its “A Better Tomorrow” corporate social responsibility programme, and to mark the new store opening, the store team at Lidl Lusk donated €1,000 in Lidl vouchers to their local St. Vincent De Paul.
Store Manager, Max Nozhenko, commented on the announcement:
