Lidl Ireland has announced that the opening of its brand-new store in Lusk will take place this Thursday, December 9.

Lidl say that up to 30 permanent jobs will be created with the retailer with the opening of the Lusk store.

The new store will have a new 1,609 metre squared shop floor, featuring a spacious interior layout, high ceilings, and wide aisles, ensuring a comfortable shopping experience for our customers.

In addition to an improved shop floor and layout, the new state-of-the-art design will showcase a number of sustainable features such EV charging points, efficient heating, and LED lighting.

In line with Lidl’s community-focused objectives under its “A Better Tomorrow” corporate social responsibility programme, and to mark the new store opening, the store team at Lidl Lusk have chosen their local St. Vincent De Paul to benefit from a €1,000 donation that will be presented on the day.

Store Manager, Max Nozhenko, commented on the announcement:

“We have long had an ambition to bring our award-winning products and market leading value to the town of Lusk and we’re delighted to open our doors just in time for Christmas,” he said.

“Our brand-new, state-of-the-art store features a fresh bakery, spacious aisles and of course our incredible Lidl prices which are sure to impress.

“We look forward to welcoming new shoppers through our doors in the coming weeks and months and making a positive impact on this thriving community in the years to come.”
