Fingal County Council has commenced the review of the current Fingal Development Plan and preparing the new Fingal Development Plan 2023-2029 and is now looking for the public to take an active part in the process which will take two years to complete.
The Strategic Issues Paper was published on 12th March 2021 and presents an overview of the critical issues facing Fingal and sets out by theme, some of the key issues that may need to be addressed by the new Plan.
This initial phase of consultation will run between the 12th of March and the 12th of May 2021. Submissions during this phase of consultation may be made by uploading to https://consult.fingal.ie/ or by post to the Development Plan Team, Planning and Strategic Infrastructure Department, Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main St., Swords, Co. Dublin, K67X8Y2. Submissions must be received by 11.59p.m. on the 12th of May 2021.
As part of the Development Plan review process, Fingal County Council is eager to engage with all interested organisations, community groups and individuals.
A series of Public Consultation Webinar events will be held between the 13th and 22nd of April and will discuss a number of the Themes raised in the recently published Strategic Issues Paper.
