A Dublin primary school has sent a class home after one of the students tested positive for Covid-19.

The principal of the school this morning confirmed on RTÉ Radio One’s Today with Claire Byrne show that they have a positive case.

According to the principal the class was sent home as a precautionary measure, based on public health advice, and the child did not contract Covid-19 through transmission in the school.

The school in question returned from their summer holidays last Wednesday.
