Dublin People 13 Dec 2019
A NORTHSIDE father and daughter flew an Aer Lingus plane together for the first time last Saturday week, December 7.

Captain Gerry Duff and First Officer Aoife Duff, from Rush, were coincidentally rostered to co-pilot their milestone first flight together from Dublin to Seattle, Aer Lingus flight EI143, operating an Airbus A330 aircraft.
Captain Gerry Duff recently celebrated his 30th year working with Aer Lingus, while daughter Aoife joined the airline through its cadetship programme two years ago and recently completed her Airbus A330 training for transatlantic travel.
The Duffs are currently the only father daughter pilot duo flying with Aer Lingus.
