Jobs boost for Loughshinny
Dublin People 09 Nov 2019
OVER 130 new jobs will be created in North Dublin following the recent opening of Loughshinny Residential Home.

Located near Skerries, the purpose-built facility is the first of a group of private nursing homes which Bartra Healthcare plans to develop in the Greater Dublin area.
With over one-third of its inhabitants aged over 65, North Dublin has one of the highest aging populations in the country.
As its elderly population increases, so too will the need for more nursing home beds.
This state-of-the-art nursing home can accommodate up to 123 residents with private rooms, all ensuite, furnished to an extremely high specification.
As well as providing long-term residential care for the elderly in the local community, Loughshinny Residential Home will cater for residents with short-term nursing care needs in the form of respite, convalescent and rehabilitation care.
Speaking to Northside People recently, Brian Keane, chief executive of Bartra Healthcare, said: “We strive to provide care which is personal to each of our residents. “Our staff are our most important asset and we endeavour to employ the best people by providing a rewarding place of work.
“Bartra Healthcare is also currently developing two more state-of-the-art residential homes in North Dublin, both opening in 2020, at Beaumont and Santry, which will bring our total beds to 462.
“Our ultimate vision is to deliver 2,000 new nursing home beds, over the coming years.”
