Campaign is launched to help Kelly
Dublin People 22 Jun 2018
A CAMPAIGN has been launched to raise funds to send an ill woman to Hungary for treatment next month.
Kelly Caffrey (41), from the north inner city, was diagnosed with cancer in February.
Now the local community is aiming to raise much-needed funds for Kelly, mother of five beautiful daughters, to travel to the Gerson Institute in Budapest for treatment.
The clinic has a place available for Kelly, from July 16-29. However, with such a short window, money needs to be raised as soon as possible to secure this place.
The local community have set up a Go Fund Me page (https://www.gofundme.com/treatment-for-kelly) and donations have started to come in. Meanwhile, a street event took place last Thursday on Canon Lillis Avenue to raise funds and more events are planned in the coming weeks.
All donations are welcome.
