Public toilets to open in Rush this weekend

FINGAL County Council has confirmed that the public toilets at Harbour Park in Rush will open this weekend for the summer season.

The news will be welcomed by local parents as the toilets are located close to a state-of-the-art children’s playground which opened last year.

There has been much criticism of the fact that the toilets have remained closed, despite the popularity of the scenic area with tourists. The park offers stunning views across to Loughshinny and overlooks Rush Harbour.

In a statement to Northside People, a spokesperson for Fingal County Council said: “The public toilets at Rush Harbour adjacent to the playground will be opened for the summer bathing season which commences this coming weekend and finishes in September.”
