Do you fancy going up the Liffey in a bubble?

The fundraiser on the Liffey promises great excitement.

IN the past you may have heard the famous phrase: “Do you think I came up the Liffey in a Bubble?”

Well now’s your chance to really try it at a fundraising event with a difference for Dublin-based charity ‘One in Four’.

On Sunday, March 25, the charity, which helps those affected by childhood sexual abuse, will be holding a water zorbing event on Ireland’s most famous river.

This unique event invites teams of four people to enter a specially designed Water Zorb and work together to travel approximately 600 metres along the Grand Canal Dock.

This really is a challenge as it is a lot harder than it looks but so much fun at the same time.

It is also a great opportunity to get together with work colleagues, friends and family to raise money for this worthy cause in a fun and challenging way.

As well as raising much needed funds, it will raise awareness of the charity’s work which gives a voice to the people who have experienced sexual abuse and provides a space that, by its very existence, challenges feelings of shame, isolation and self-blame.

The passion to protect the children of today drives their work day to day.

Registration is €50 and minimum sponsorship is €250 per team of four. You are invited to sign up now and if you have any questions, email [email protected] or call John on 01-6624070.
