Sports clubs playing their part for homeless
Dublin People 02 Dec 2017
TEN sports clubs in the Howth and Sutton area have come together to raise awareness and funds for the homeless in Ireland, this December.

Each club will run in-house events during the first two weeks of December with proceeds being split between Focus Ireland and the Peter McVerry Trust.
The culmination of the fundraisers will be the much-anticipated annual Carols @ the Cross event on December 16.
This is a very good opportunity to engage the entire community to support the almost 8,500 people experiencing homelessness this year.
The participating clubs are: Howth Golf Club, Sutton Lawn Tennis Club, Howth Yacht Club, Sutton Dinghy Club, Deerpark Ladies, Suttonians Rugby Club, Beann Eadair GAA, Sutton Golf Club, Howth Celtic Football Club and Suttonians Hockey Club.
Keep an eye out for the logo (pictured) which will be used to advertise all fundraising events in the various clubs over the coming weeks.
The organisers are hoping everyone comes out to support the club and community in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness.
