Laura Lipparoni, from Clontarf, has made her TV debut.

A NORTHSIDE woman has made her on-screen debut in a new campaign for a car insurance company.

Following an open casting call, the its4women.ie TV ad, airing on RTE One, sees Laura Lipparoni, from Clontarf, share her experiences and insights into what it means to look for and find the ‘perfect partner’.

Laura beat off competition from over 300 hundred applicants after a national search by the company to find everyday women, from all walks of life and all parts of the country, for the fresh, fun and feel-good campaign.

Laura (40) is originally from South Africa and has an Italian family history. She moved to Ireland in her 20s after falling in love with the island and our people while travelling here.

Married for 10 years to her very own perfect partner, she has a daughter and a son.

Yoga fanatic Laura turned her love of the ancient form of exercise into a job as an instructor, spending 13 years helping people get to grips with yoga. Several years ago, she left the yoga world behind and resumed her studies, graduating with a degree in Physiotherapy in 2016.

After graduating, Laura took up a position in a Dublin clinic where she works as a physio for children. She hasn’t left the world of yoga behind completely but still practices it in her spare time.

Working with its4women.ie and finding small screen stardom has been an exciting experience for Laura.

“Seeing myself on screen is the most surreal experience but something I can definitely look back on and be proud of,” she says.

“I have lots of lovely memories from the filming day and had a great time with the its4women.ie crew.”

The ‘Perfect Partner’ campaign aims to bolster the brand’s support of women in Ireland with a programme of content dedicated to females across the country.
