VIDEO: Join us for a tour of Swords in 1985

TODAY, Swords is one of the fastest growing towns in the country and holds pride of place as the capital of Fingal.

With Pavilion Shopping Centre and a great choice of popular pubs and restaurants, it is a vibrant and lively place to shop or socialise.

It is simply incredible to see how much Swords has changed over the past few decades, as this archive film shows.

This video tour of the town was made by Bill Barry for Swords Historical Society in 1985, featuring commentary from Bernadette Marks.
