Unforgettable singing by talented Northside choir 

BEALTAINE is Ireland’s national festival which celebrates the arts and creativity as we age. 

The festival is run by Age & Opportunity, the national organisation that promotes active and engaged living for older persons. 

The Dawn Chorus is one of over 3,000 events that are taking place throughout the month of May all over the country.   

As part of the Dawn Chorus, the Forget-Me-Nots, a Northside dementia-friendly community choir, along with the CanBelto Ladies Choir, held an event at Baldoyle Green, Strand Road, last week.

Forget-Me-Nots has been a huge success in the community since its inception.  

The choi provides a regular social outlet for its members, their family and carers – with camaraderie, music and joy at the heart of this unique initiative for a better, more inclusive community in North Dublin.
