Top award for local entertainer Steven

A NORTHSIDE actor/singer was celebrating recently after winning a prestigious award in Dublin.

 Steven Mangan, from Coolock, took home the top prize of the night – Entertainer of the Year – at the International Runway Achievers & Recognition Awards, held at the Hilton Hotel Dublin Airport.

 Steven, who is among the cast of TV3’s hit show ‘Red Rock’, was accompanied to the event by his wife Sinead and close friends Sil Fox and Al Porter. 

 Afterwards they took the party to celebrity nightclub Krystal into the small   hours. 

 The newly crowned ‘Entertainer of the Year’ winner was delighted to accept the award in front of a packed room and also took to the stage to belt out a couple of Michael Buble’s hit songs.

 Steven has come a long way since he first took to a stage more than 25 

years ago when he sang in a local talent competition at Naomh Fionnbarra GAA Club.
