TO celebrate 25 years in business this month, SuperValu Balbriggan owner Luke Moriarty has organised some spectacular promotions, including a FREE Family Fun Day and a fabulous giveaway of €250 shopping every day for 25 days.

The Fun Day will take place on Saturday, May 28 in the store, and includes an amazing line up of entertainment for the whole family. Live music, food tasting, inflatable fun, games, balloon artists, face painters, and costumed entertainers can be enjoyed, with spectacular prizes up for grabs on the day too.

Throughout the month of May, there will be thousands of exceptional discounts and price promotions in Moriarty’s SuperValu, guaranteed to kick-start the summer in Balbriggan.

Luke Moriarty said that being involved locally has been key to the success of SuperValu.

“We always work hard on standards, and make sure we have the right prices and range for shoppers, but I truly believe SuperValu’s success in Balbriggan is because we have a great local team here, and are part of this community,” he said.

Opened in 1991, the store continually invests in store improvements, to provide state-of-the-art shopping facilities for the local community.

Store manager Brian Carrick said: “Luke Moriarty is well known for his support of local sporting and social groups, and has contributed well over €2.5 million to community groups in Balbriggan and the surrounding area since opening here in 1991.

“Tidy Towns, O’Dwyers GAA, the rugby and football clubs, all the schools, and every major community and charity initiative has had the backing of SuperValu Balbriggan over the years.”

SuperValu Balbriggan has also been a frequent award winner over the years, claiming the overall Supreme National Hygiene Award for Ireland’s cleanest business in 1995, as well as the Off-Licence of the Year title on a number of occasions, and numerous other retail accolades.
