Local student wins design competition

TRANSITION Year student Rodrigo Soberon Pena, who attends St Aidan’s CBS in Whitehall, was presented with the Dublin Regional Winner award at the IWA’s Angels Pin Design competition. 

 Judges selected Rodrigo’s design, ‘Rocketman’, a creative design which will be reproduced, manufactured and sold by Clontarf-based Irish Wheelchair Association.

The IWA called on Transition Year students nationwide to submit entries to find five new designs for Angels pins which will be sold as part of a fundraising campaign in locations throughout Ireland in November.
