Heartfelt reaction to Peter’s story

IN last week’s issue of Northside People we told the remarkable story of Santry man Peter Wynne’s brush with death. 

Staff at Beaumont Hospital saved Peter’s life after he had a cardiac arrest and collapsed in the hospital’s lobby.

Peter’s story, titled ‘Back from the dead’, in which he praised the lightning quick actions of the Beaumont Hospital staff, provoked quite a reaction among our many readers, both in print and online.

Linda McGrath: Lovely story to read about the staff at the hospital and well done to them for saving a life. I have to say no matter what hospital is mentioned here, doctors and nurses do a fantastic job under the conditions that they have to work in, they deserve a great round of applause.
