Dublin People 06 Feb 2016
GARDAÍ now believe that at least six people were involved in yesterday’s shooting incident at the Regency Hotel in Whitehall, which left one man dead and two injured.

Three are described as wearing police style uniforms similar to a SWAT team’s, including metal helmets. The men were armed with automatic weapons. Two others were carrying hand guns. One was a man disguised as a woman and wearing an auburn wig and the other was stocky and wearing a beige cap.
Gardaí believe the sixth man remained in the driver’s seat of the silver ford transit van.
A further appeal was made today in Ballymun Garda Station seeking information on the movements of a silver Ford Transit van in the vicinity of the Regency Hotel at anytime between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Friday afternoon.
Assistant Commissioner Jack Nolan asked: “Did anybody see this van in the vicinity of Swords Road, Griffith Avenue, or the Charlemont Estate in Marino between 2.30pm and 3pm, or at any time in any location in the last number of days?”
He added: “We know that there were a considerable number of people present in the Regency Hotel and we are appealing to them to provide any information they may have in relation to the shooting. We are also appealing to anyone who was in the area of the Regency Hotel between 2pm and 2.45pm, or anyone who was in the Charlemont Estate at that time is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 01-6664400 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
