Dubliners get Star Wars fever as trailer to latest installment is released

THE Force was strongly felt in Dublin over the weekend when the immensely popular Invasion Dublin ran over three days at the National Show Centre in Cloghran.

Interest in the annual event was higher than ever this year, due in no small part to the looming release of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ this December, not to mention the next film in the series, tentatively titled ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’, currently filming off the coast of Kerry. 

Throughout its history, Invasion Dublin has hosted very special guests from the world of ‘Star Wars’, and 2015 is no different. The one and only Peter Mayhew, aka Chewbacca, will be on hand to meet and greet fans.
