Dublin date for woman behind The Beatles

A WOMAN who was a key part of the inner circle of The Beatles will make a public appearance in Dublin next month.

Freda Kelly will take part in a public interview with broadcaster Tom Dunne in the Workman’s Club on Sunday, November 8, as part of the Dublin Beatles Festival.

Freda worked as secretary for The Beatles during the 1960s and is the subject of the recent award-winning documentary, ‘Good Ol’ Freda’, which documents her life with the world’s most celebrated band.

The Dublin Beatles Festival runs from November 6-8th at various venues in the city. There will be Beatle gigs, film, theatre, free events, table quiz, public interview, art, memorabilia, merchandise and lots more!  Highlights this year include The Rockits (Cavern Club resident band) coming over from England to play The Big Gig at the Workman’s Club.

Tickets are now on sale at www.eventbrite.ie. The festival website is www.dublinbeatlesfestival.com
