Dublin dealers scoop prestigious European awards

FORD dealers Lillis O’Donnell on the Naas Road and Finglas Ford Centre on the North Road were recent winners in the prestigious Ford of Europe Chairman’s Awards.

Sean Lillis collected the award for outstanding performance in service in 2012, while the award presented to Pat Clarke of Finglas Ford Centre was in respect of customer satisfaction in parts.

The awards were presented by Ford Ireland Chairman and Managing Director Eddie Murphy.

The Ford of Europe Chairman’s Award programme is based on direct feedback from customers who have purchased a vehicle from the dealership and is in recognition of a dealer’s performance in meeting those expectations.

Research has been carried out by Ford in assessing these expectations and providing guidelines to dealers to satisfy them.

For both dealerships, it is their fourth time to win the award.

“It’s no secret that today’s difficult market is putting strains on many in the retail sector, and it is fitting that we acknowledge those who are managing to maintain and improved standards of customer care in spite of this,

? commented Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland.

“With Dublin claiming two awards, Ford customers in the capital are clearly in the best of hands. Congratulations go to the teams in Finglas and at the Red Cow.
