Peugeot Rides Out with Irish Premature Babies
Dublin People 04 May 2012PEUGEOT has announced that the Ride Out for Prems 2012, a charity event organised by Irish Premature Babies has raised just over

?¬50,000.
Over a four day period, from April 26 – 29, a group of 30 motorcyclists, led by a convoy of Peugeot cars and a van, travelled around Ireland delivering equipment to baby intensive care units in Louth, Cavan, Donegal, Sligo, Galway, Kerry, Limerick, Laois and Dublin.
Riders and passengers, many of whom are parents and relations of premature babies, had to raise
?¬1,000 to allow the charity to buy the requested equipment for each hospital.
The highlight of the tour began on Thursday morning, when the entourage called to the Coombe where the organisers excitedly handed over a cheque for
?¬22,000 for a new incubator to delighted staff and nurses.
Emma Toner, Peugeot Communications Manager, said:
“Irish Premature Babies is a fantastic charity that offers a huge support network to parents and relations. The team has worked relentlessly this year again to fundraise for maternity hospitals all over Ireland. Peugeot is delighted and proud to be involved in the Ride Out for Prems 2012 event in providing four cars and a van.
