Peugeot supports Challenge 126
Dublin People 21 Apr 2012PEUGEOT is supporting Challenge 126, a charity event in aid of Special Olympics Ireland which will see two athletes run 126 miles, the equivalent of five marathons in one day.
Brian Maher of Spin 1038 and Mike Sheridan from RTE and entertainment.ie will set out on their journey at 7am on Thursday, April 26 from Limerick City, led by a convoy of Peugeot 3008s. The sporting duo will aim to arrive on Dublin’s Grafton Street just 30 hours later.
Pushing the limitations of physical and mental endurance, the pair is aiming to raise
?¬20,000 for Special Olympics.
Speaking about the task at hand Brian and Mike said:
“We have both taken part in similar challenges before, but Challenge 126 is something else entirely. It will push us to our absolute limits and beyond, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Thanks so much to our supporters and team, who have already made this an incredibly memorable experience. Now let’s raise some serious money for the wonderful people at the Special Olympics.

Emma Toner, Peugeot Communications Manager added:
