Irish rugby star Cian chooses a Defender
Dublin People 13 Jan 2012DUBLIN born Cian Healy
has a day job playing rugby at the very highest level.

As Ireland and Leinster
loose head prop he plays his rugby in different countries and continents,
regardless of the weather or the temperature. Cian’s other job is also his
hobby, when he becomes the famous
‘DJ Church’ and entertains dance and music
fans in clubs and outdoor festivals such as Oxegen.
Going into 2012, Cian
wanted a car that performed to his standards and fitted in with his two
lifestyles. He went to HB Dennis Airside for advice and, after discussing his
needs, he specified a totally unique Land Rover Defender, a car as rugged and
as all-weather as Cian himself.
Specifications
include Old Man Emu shocks and springs
that raise the vehicles ride height, Trxus Mud Terrain Tyres 37
?/12.5
? Bigfoot
Flared Wheel Arches, Light Force spot lights, stainless steel extended brake
lines, wheel spacers to widen the track, Safari roof rack and ladder, light
guards and chequer plating, leather seats, privacy glass, A-Frame and LR spots
and even a snorkel.
So, getting to the game
with all his gear and some friends is sorted. So too is getting his sound
equipment to gigs in town or in muddy fields. With his music in mind, Cian
specified a fully professional sound system featuring Pioneer 200 watt in car
DVD/Stereo, driving a twin 12
? 1500W sub woofer cabinet.
Patrick Dennis at HB
Dennis Airside, who delivered the Land Rover to Cian on New Year’s Day, said
that Cian and his new vehicle were ideally matched.
“Both are unique,
they’re both tough and built for the job and they’re impossible not to notice,
?
he said.
