28,122 visitors attend the permanent tsb Ideal Home Show

The permanent tsb Ideal Home Show, which took place this weekend, saw 28,122 people make their way to the RDS Simmonscourt for personalised expert home improvement advice, to engage in live discussions with leading suppliers and walk away with the tools and know-how to make their mark on their homes.

Caitríona O’Connor of SDL Exhibitions Ltd and Show Director of the permanent tsb Ideal Home Show, said “Our 2023 spring edition show has been a true success, with visitor numbers exceeding our expectations.

“Exhibitors have reported huge levels of engagement from consumers as home-improvement spending increases and people seek to enhance their lifestyle, raise the value and energy ratings of the house they currently occupy.”

At the permanent tsb Ideal Home Show, the three live theatres proved very popular among visitors, with DFS Interiors Theatre attracting guests with its engaging interior discussions hosted by Jo Linehan, the Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan Advice Theatre delivering cutting edge sustainable home energy knowledge and the Dunnes Stores Simply Better Chefs Live Theatre featuring beloved Irish chef, Neven Maguire.

3. Copperfish Lighting Company stand at the permanent tsb Ideal Home Show

The DFS Interiors Inspiration Centre featured four distinct roomsets by interior design influencers; Susan McGowan of Interior Architecture & Design Studio, Ashen & Cloud, who acted as creative director of both the DFS Interiors Theatre and DFS Interiors Inspiration Centre for the show.

Joining Susan were renowned interior design influencers Natasha Rocca Devine, author and founder of ‘The Interiors NRD Studio’, Sarah Battle of House By The White Thorns, and Yvonne Melinn, founder of YStyle.

Further show highlights included the Fleetwood Interior Design Hub featuring a series of room sets designed and built by four interior designers, to demonstrate their creative perspectives to attendees; the Drive Electric Zone, which showcased a broad range of the latest EV’s and Hybrids as well as E-Bikes; the Build and Extend Zone a one stop shop for expanding your home; the Working from Home Pavilion which shows how to create a better Work/Life Space; the Kitchens and Bathrooms Zone and the Lifestyle & Outdoor Living Zone.
