ASLAN return to play the Live at the Marquee gig at Sandyford House in Sandyford Village on Saturday, September 14 as part of their Goodbye Charlie Moonhead 2019 Tour.

It will be their only Dublin gig before the New Year.
Goodbye Charlie Moonhead was released 25 years ago, back in 1994 and the band are touring the album throughout 2019.
Songs such as ‘Rainman’, ‘Where’s the Sun’, ‘Games’, ‘Sweet Time, ‘Goodbye Charlie Moonhead’ and of course ‘Crazy World’ are all performed live on this tour.
But don't worry the band will also be playing crowd favourites too, including ‘This Is’, ‘Too Late for Hallelujah’ and all the other hits.
Aslan took their name from the fictional lion in CS Lewis's series of books chronicling the land of Narnia (Aslan is the Turkish word for ‘Lion’).
The band came from the working class areas of Finglas and Ballymun on the Northside in the mid-1980s.
They released a demo single, ‘This Is’ in the spring of 1986. It was a success and a popular single on Ireland's pop radio station, RTÉ 2fm.
In 1986, they played a series of shows in the UK that launched them on their way.
