Bray Air Display

Ireland’s biggest air festival is taking place on Saturday July 28 and Sunday July 29 along Bray seafront.
The event, which is renowned as one of Europe’s best air displays, features gravity-defying manoeuvres, flyovers and aerobatic performances.
There are also some great events and activities on the ground from 12 noon. They include a static display, food, craft & business village, helicopter pleasure flights, a fun fair and live music.

Bark in the Park
The Bark in the Park sponsored dog walk takes place in the beautiful Phoenix Park on Sunday July 29.
All four-legged, waggy-tailed, furry friends and their human families are welcome to come along to help raise money to support the Irish Blue Cross veterinary services.
There'll be music, games, raffles and very exciting dog competition and it starts at Aces Road Cycle Track, opposite the Papal Cross.

Hotter than July
This is a free, feel-good celebration of creativity, culture, and community with high quality music performances from Irish-based and international acts.
Kicking off with a big bang at 3pm on Sunday, July 29, in Smithfield Square there’s a jam packed programme of rhythms and vibrant performances at this family-friendly, outdoor festival until 8pm.
ANONYMOUS in Dublin

Robin Hood and His Merry Men
Chapterhouse Theatre Company’s production of ‘Robin Hood and His Merry Men’ will take place at Newbridge House and Farm, Donabate, on Monday, July 30 at 1pm. Gates open at 12noon.
Inspired by folklore, myth and legend, this brand-new version of Robin’s notorious story is brought alive with traditional sword play, song, music, dance and stunning medieval costumes. Adapted by award winning writer Laura Turner.

The Little Prince
Morgan Creative presents a dramatic re-imagining of Antoine Saint Exupery’s ‘The Little Prince’ translated and adapted by Oisín Robbins.
This contemporary performance uses multiple different art forms such as music and audio-visual work in order to bring the magical story to life.
‘The Little Prince’ is a fantastical adventure that explores growing up and how the imagination we are all born with can save us. It runs from August 1 to 4 in the dlr Mill Theatre at 7pm every evening.
Meetings in Dun Laoghaire
The Irish Guild of Embroiderers return to the dlr Lexicon this summer with a wonderful new exhibition, focused on the theme of ‘Meetings’. The selection of textile work on display embraces fabric manipulation and embellishment, dyeing, printing, and stitching and is presented in a variety of forms including framed work, wall hangings and 3D sculputes. It runs at the dlr Lexicon until August 31.
