TWO top international soccer legends who played for the great Don Revie Leeds United side of the ‘60s and ‘70s are coming to Dublin next month.

Super striker Allan ‘Sniffer’ Clarke and long serving defender Paul ‘Speedy’ Reaney will be at East Side Tavern on Wednesday, March 21, where they’ll spend the evening talking to fans, answering questions and signing autographs.
The night will be MC’d by Today FM and TV3 broadcaster Matt Cooper, who is a Leeds United supporter.
The former England internationals are being brought over to Ireland by events agency All To Play For in association with adj.ie and Leeds United Irish Fans.
Leeds United fan Rob Rice of All To Play For says fans are delighted to have the Leeds legends in Dublin for the night.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to meet these true Leeds heroes,” he added.
“All Leeds fans, and indeed anybody with an interest in football, are more than welcome to attend and we’re expecting a big turnout for the event.
“Make sure to wear your Leeds jersey and get the voice ready for the Leeds chants and songs. For one night, the East Side Tavern will experience the Elland Road Roar.”
Allan Clarke said he’s looking forward to meeting Irish fans and having a couple of pints with them.
“I’ve been told by the lads that previous events have been something else and I’m hoping we’ll have a packed house full of Leeds fans,” he added.
The Leeds Legends event will provide fans with a chance to hear stories about the club’s most successful era and ask any questions they might have.
There will also be an opportunity for photographs and autographs while a raffle and an auction for rare memorabilia will also be held on the night.
Kieran Reilly of adj.ie is encouraging fans to bring their hats, flags and scarfs to the event.
“We are turning East Side Tavern into Elland Road for one night,” she said. “Any one wondering, who supports Leeds United, well this is the night to show the reds fans of the city.
“It’s time we painted the city of Dublin white.”
The Leeds Legends night kicks off at 7.45pm in East Side Tavern, 104 Leeson Street Lower, Dublin 2, Corner of Stephens Green,.
Tickets for the event cost €17 or €35 for a VIP experience to meet the players before the show are available online at www.eventbrite.com.
