LE BOOM are an electro-indie-house-pop duo based in Dublin.

Since they were formed in June 2016 by Christy Leech and Aimie Mallon (right) they have brought their electro-indie-house-pop show to cities such as New York, Reykjavik, Cork, Belfast, Galway, and their hometown of Dub;in.

They have also played at festivals like Latitude, Body&Soul, Electric Picnic, Truck Festival, Castlepalooza and Indiependence.

LE BOOM's late-night shows are a frenzy of glass-bottle beats, layered loops, catchy vocal hooks and sweaty fans who dance like no other fans in the world.

LE BOOM's debut single release, ‘What We Do’, received massive airplay on both US and Irish radio stations.

It featured in the Summer 2017 ad campaign for Vodafone and has over 316,000 plays on Spotify.

Their long-awaited second single ‘Don’t Need It Now’ was released on November 24 and has already had over 100,000 plays on Spotify.

‘What We Do is informed by the synth-pop of Hot Chip and lo-fi dancefloor atmospherics’ the Irish Times enthused.

LE BOOM are playing on Saturday, April 7 in The Button Factory on Curved Street. Doors are 11pm.
