Women’s Mini Marathon
The VHI Women’s Mini Marathon is undoubtedly the biggest event taking place in Dublin this weekend.
On Monday, June 5, thousands of women from all over the country will converge on the capital for this eagerly anticipated event.

Dublin Port Riverfest
Dublin Port is preparing to help visitors discover their sea legs this June bank holiday weekend at Riverfest 2017, Ireland’s premier sailing and maritime festival.
The three-day action packed maritime event is now in its fifth year, with this year set to be the biggest yet.
Taking place between the Samuel Beckett Bridge and the 3Arena from Friday, June 2 to Monday, June 5, Riverfest offers entertainment and activities for all the family, and admission is free.

Car Boot Sale in Raheny
Visit Raheny this June bank holiday Monday (June 5) if you’d like the opportunity to grab some bargains.
St Paul’s College, Raheny, is holding a car boot sales to raise funds for a group of students travelling to Lourdes in September as volunteers on the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage.

Nestlé is bringing a pop-up cereal store to the Swords Pavilions Shopping Centre from Thursday, June 1 to Sunday, June 4.
The Aisle of Wonder will allow visitors to choose from all their favourite Nestlé breakfast cereals including Shreddies, Cookie Crisp and Cheerios
Not only that, you can even customise your very own box of cereal with your name.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears
This much-loved fairytale comes to life on stage at 1pm and 3pm on Saturday, June 3, at Axis Ballymun in an unforgettable live production of song and laughter that children will love.
Goldilocks, the Three Bears and Ruff the Dog perform an exciting and fun filled musical production that takes a few twists and turns along the way with other new puppet characters and hopefully a happy ever after.

The House of Peroni
The House of Peroni is back in Dublin at 1 Dame Lane, Dublin 2 until June 4.

Bloom in the Park
Bloom 2017 takes place in the Phoenix Park from Thursday, June 1, to Monday, June 5.
Bloom has numerous highly creative gardens and plant displays which are used to inspire and excite the public about gardening and garden design.
According to Bord Bia, key themes for this year’s event include ‘fake news’, dog friendly gardens (although visitors can’t bring their own dogs) and Ireland’s farming and food production heritage. Tickets are on sale now on www.bloominthepark.com and children go free.
BloomFringe
BloomFringe Festival is an edgy festival of urban greening. It slams onto on the streets of Dublin on the June Bank Holiday, popping up luscious gardens and dramatically transforming unloved spaces into urban oases.
Highlights include BloomFringe Breakfast sessions Pecha Kucha talks with international and home-grown experts at Dublin Castle Printworks on Saturday June 3 and Secret Garden Tours of Dublin City led by Dr Vandra Costello.

Tolka House fundraiser
THERE’S great food, live music and lots of fun promised in Tolka House on Friday, June 2, when a BBQ fundraiser in aid of ARC Cancer Support Services takes place.
The BBQ takes place from 7-9pm in the beer garden and the live music kicks off at 8.30pm until late into the evening.
Expect great tunes, raffles, auctions and loads of craic. Tickets cost €5 from Tolka House, but you can also just drop down and pay on night.
All money raised will go towards ARC Cancer Support Services to provide professional support, counselling and therapy for anybody diagnosed with cancer or their family or friends.
