THE  Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is hosting a very special series of events in 2017 that will focuse on four unique lives.

These four separate events will bring together a host of incredible personalities in a very special lecture series designed to motivate, challenge and enlighten anyone with an open mind and a strong desire to learn from the personal experiences of these distinguished speakers.

The confirmed speakers – John Cleese, Mia Farrow, Chris Hadfield and Alexandra Costeau – will bring together the stories of a lifetime in an intimate setting.

Exclusive season tickets (for all four events) are now on sale. Prices for season tickets will start from €102 and will be available for a limited time only, until Thursday, November 24.

Chris Hadfield is no stranger to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre stage having had two sold out shows in January 2015. An Evening with Chris Hadfield is set to take place on January 22 and will feature rarely seen videos from Chris Hadfield’s personal collection. Audiences will be mesmerised by the beauty of our planet as seen from a bird’s eye. And yes, Chris will sing David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’.

Following this, An Audience with Mia Farrow will take place on March 26 where she will discuss everything from Frank Sinatra to The Beatles.

From her earliest childhood memories of Ireland and her mother Maureen O’Sullivan, to her painful custody battle with Woody Allen, you’ll hear it all in what is nothing less than the extraordinary life of Mia Farrow.

There will be an opportunity to celebrate Earth Day with advocate and water policy expert Alexandra Costeau who will give a unique and engaging talk.

A  National Geographic explorer, filmmaker  and  globally recognised advocate on water issues, Alexandra Cousteau continues the work of her renowned grandfather, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, and her father, Philippe Cousteau Sr.

And last but by no means least, laugh out loud with John Cleese who will conclude this series of events on May 28. A versatile actor and a leading business motivator, he created a unique comedic style that has inspired countless writers and comedians through the legendary ‘Monty Python’s Flying Circus’, ‘Fawlty Towers’ and ‘A Fish Called Wanda’.
