The End is nearing for Black Sabbath

The way they were: Sabbath back in the day.

IT STARTED nearly five decades ago with a crack of thunder, a distant bell ringing and then that monstrous riff that shook the earth.  It was the heaviest rock sound ever heard.

In that moment Heavy Metal was born, created by a young band from Birmingham barely out of their teens.

Now it has come to an end, with the final eight shows by the greatest metal band of all time, Black Sabbath featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, who are returning home to close the final chapter in the final volume of their incredible story.

Their farewell tour, ‘The End’, is currently wowing fans all over Europe, surpassing all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever.

In advance of their headline show at the Download Festival they announced their final run of dates across the UK and Ireland. This leg of The End tour will start on January 20 at the 3Arena in Dublin and will then hit arenas in Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, two nights at The O2 in London and will culminate in two nights in their hometown at the Genting Arena, Birmingham.

When this tour concludes, it will truly be the end of one of most legendary bands in Rock ’n Roll history.

“Now that The End is coming nearer I must say that I’m really gutted,” Ozzy declared.
