Campaigners say they expect a huge turnout for anti-water march

A MASSIVE turnout is expected for the Right2Water national march on August 29.

Campaigners have vowed to keep the pressure on, and claim that defeating the Government parties at the next election will be a final nail in the coffin of the charges.

“No matter how much the Government tries to put a bold face on it the fact is the Irish Water fiasco is unravelling before our eyes,

? said Brid Smith, the People Before Profit councillor for Drimnagh/Ballyfermot (pictured above with campaigners),

“The Eurostat ruling that the costs for Irish Water which they promised to keep

‘off the books’ would have to be added to the Irish national debt makes the water charges unsustainable.
